About us Document Outsourcing, in 2004, emanated as an MBO from Stortext, a major Scottish document outsourcing company whose core business was physical and electronic document imaging. Since the MBO, DO have changed the profile and direction of the business and are now recognised as one of the UK's leading and innovative document outsourcing companies, providing 'cradle to grave' services solutions for business critical documents.
For over 15 years, from our base in Scotland, through continual investment in 'state of the art' technology and software we have employed our significant data manipulation skills to return optimum service and cost benefits to our customers who comprise Local Authorities, Debt Recovery organisations and other major Financial Services organisations across the UK, indeed any market where business critical financial documents are the organisation's life blood.
DO have consistently grown recurring outsourced contracted business to a turnover, circa £8m serving all sizes of organisations across the UK with equal service emphasis.
Our latest achievement is to have been awarded our own Royal Mail Postal Licence allowing extension of our Postal Consultancy services to offer via our primepost service substantial savings alongside 'day definite' delivery benefits.
Security
DO business is founded on data security and integrity and our control procedures reflect this. A full audit trail exists from data receipt and processing to handover to our selected mailing agents. Our data centre is totally secure in physical and network security terms with CCTV monitoring and the latest alarms fitted. Our internal support systems can also be web enabled, under strict security access procedues to allow customers to track job progress and audit information.
