Primepost - Environmental Benefits

Environmental culture and procedures is something that is paramount to our business approach and we understand that for many of our clients and their audience this is also a critical element. Primepost is the most environmentally friendly postal model existing in the UK at present. We receive data, we process that data, then print, personalise and insert the mail into outer envelopes. The mail is then taken from our local site direct to the appropriate Royal Mail processing centre.

This means no trucking of letters nationally, as the data is moved electronically, efficiently and securely. No trip to sortation centres such as in the mainstream Downstream Access postal carriers. Dependent on your location and the mails destination it might mean that your mail travels in the opposite direction to the destination so as to be processed through a sortation machine.

Wherever possible we use recyclable materials and low emission vans to carry our client’s mail.
We ensure we produce the mail in a site close to the final destination of the letters thus providing a service that meets and exceeds their environmental objectives.
